Our goal
in working with separating or divorcing parents and
teenagers is to make the separation process a smooth
transition for all members of the family while keeping
conflict at a minimum. By learning the skills listed above,
our goal is for parents to maintain a healthy relationship
with the ex partner and still be an effective parent. Our
program stresses the importance of a good co parenting plan
so that children can love both parents freely without
feeling guilty or taking sides. Our program reinforces the
fact that children never belong in the middle of an adult
situation and offer ways to keep children at a safe distance
from conflict. We lower the conflict and increase effective
communication.
Our goal in working with teenagers is to aid in making a
smooth transition of living within their familiar family
dynamic to living in separate households or co-habituating in
blended families. We teach teenagers about parenting plans
and their value, good communication and how to set
boundaries to ensure their emotional safety. Our program
reinforces with teenagers that a family is still a family no
matter the address and how to feel emotionally healthy about
the transition.
ParentingClass.net was designed and implemented by
instructors with one or more of the following: Certified
Parenting Instructor, Certified Anger Management
Facilitator, Registered Nurse, Master's Degree in Psychology
and Certified Online Instructor.
We take our programs very seriously and we expect the same
dedication from our participating parents and families.
Students are supported and monitored in their learning
process by certified and dedicated instructors.
